SUPREME x NIKE SB AIR DARWIN 'SAIL BLUE'
SUPREME x NIKE SB AIR DARWIN 'SAIL BLUE'
Basketball and skateboarding unite as streetwear juggernaut Supreme links up with Nike SB to reimagine the Air Darwin. The retro basketball shoe launched in 1994 and was the first to utilise a reverse Swoosh design, becoming one of the go-to sneakers of NBA Hall of Famer Dennis “The Worm” Rodman. The Supreme x Nike SB Air Darwin Low “Sail Blue” transitions from the hardwood court to the half-pipe, straying away from the silhouette’s bulky aesthetic for a more streamlined structure.
This summer-ready rendition flaunts a sail white canvas upper, setting up a rugged yet lightweight construction for skateboarding. Light blue accents animate the nylon lace loops, reverse Swoosh on the lateral rear, and Supreme tag. The black leather collar bolsters the base, offering more support and comfort around the ankles. An embroidered mini Swoosh adorns the toe for added flair. Co-branding on the tongue displays the SB label alongside the streetwear brand’s signature red box logo. The red sockliners showcase a mismatched “SUP” and “REME” on the left and right pair. Phylon foam cushioning sits underfoot, replacing the typical visible Air tooling for a skate-oriented style. The durable rubber outsole delivers consistent grip on any surface you step on.
